Mogul Deeply Integrated with Twitch's Most Watched Games

Here at Esports Mogul, we know we’re leading the gaming industry and changing the way esports are played.

So, when we saw last week that Newzoo, the leaders in esports market intelligence, had released their January 2018 report for the ‘Most Watched Games on Twitch’, and it boasted three of Mogul’s deeply integrated games, we just couldn’t pass it up.

First things first, we love Twitch. In fact, we have a strong ongoing relationship with them as they’re one of the most popular live streaming video platforms with a large gaming community. But, let’s take a closer look at the games that topped their charts last month…

Popular esports titles CS:GO, League of Legends and Dota 2 came in first, second and fourth respectively when ranked by esports hours watched on Twitch. We weren’t surprised at all, merely proud to see these three Mogul-partnered games do so well. We surely have teamed up with best in the business.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is a popular multiplayer first-person shooter game, which after its release in 2012 quickly saw gamers flock to get their hands on the latest in the Counter-Strike series. CS:GO now claims an impressive competitive gaming scene, recently being part of the ELEAGUE tournament. Mogul is pleased to see one of our original partners take out the number one spot for esports hours on Twitch this January with a whopping 55 million hours!

    League of Legends

League of Legends is one of the world’s biggest esports games and Mogul’s newest deeply integrated title. This crowd-pleasing game has over 100 million active users each month, which was reflected in the Twitch stats as they climbed the ranks to take out the second most watched esports game with 13.7 million hours. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better – it does. League of Legends also took the top place for total hours on Twitch with a colossal 88.9 million. Now that’s a lot of game time!

    Dota 2

Dota 2 came in fourth place this month, with a notable 9.5 million esports hours streamed. This multiplayer battle arena game has been deeply integrated with Mogul since our launch and looking back at last year’s Twitch stats, they repeatedly cracked the top three esports titles in terms of hours played.

You’ve got to have the best, to be the best. And let’s face it, with results these it’s looking good for Mogul!
